OK, all my internet friends, I can't resist passing on this "health tip" from a publication I subscribe to!

HEALTH TIP: Ice Cream As A Fertility Booster?...

1 in 8 couples has trouble conceiving. But, the fix could be
just the thing that summertime is all about... Ice Cream!

The good folks at Harvard University have found that along
with the usual suspects of increasing fruit and veggie intake,
limiting red meats, adding healthy fats by way of nuts and fish,
and other assorted healthful advice, full fat dairy products
may also boost fertility.

The thing here is that it must be full fat dairy, not low fat
or skim. Evidently, "skinny" dairy products lack the hormones
which hitch a ride on fat molecules - the ones that may aid in
ovulation.

While more research needs to be done, this finding looks
promising. So go ahead and indulge yourself.

Ok so I am going to have to say...

For that reason (fertility) and that reason alone I will now be boycotting ice cream.

I wish all of you ladies luck who wish to conceive but I am not ever re-entering this challenge.

Matter-a-fact...if at 30 years old I could schedule an appt to have my females organs removed I'd say tomorrow I would be in surgery. ;)

After 2 wonderful and delightful rugrats who currently take all of my time, energy, money, food, gas which has gotten expensive, sleep, and......is there honestly ANYTHING left to take???

Well needless to say they have it all. Mom is spent and the cries for another brother and sister have now fallen on deaf ears.

Nope, no more ice cream! This is my official boycott ladies! I will now over indulge in red meats, less veggies, refusal of all fruit and more skinny dairy products.

Thank you for listening to the alarming sound of a mother who is quite happy with ONLY 2.

haha, loved the post!

Haha, Gretchin. Gotta admit I'm in the same boat! If I needed more motivation to avoid ice cream, that was it. And I DO love ice cream. Oh well!

Thanks for making me smile!
